Summary0000010: Freezing on level load
DescriptionThere appears to be an issue which occurs when sometimes loading a level. It just crashes instantly and there's no way of telling why exactly that is. It also results in this not being playable since it keeps happening unless you leave it for a long time to "fix" itself.

This was done on the default server but has happened on a custom one also.
Steps To ReproduceJust let the game load a level and it may happen.

Any maps which use TREP or TRNG are not officially supported. Was this map done using those executables?

It often occurs on both, I believe. Crash to desktop as soon as the loading bar reaches the end (after server connect).
It's really rare but once it hits it's impossible to join a server for a good few minutes.

If you read the FAQ, TREP or TRNG executables are not officially supported. This means I will not be adding support to work with them.

I'm aware but it also happens with the default game engines (as stated).

I will have to look into the issue, it could be related to players joining as the game is loading.

I think I know what's causing this. It might be because others were using different maps on the default server.

What I noticed on a private server is that when everyone changed their level files to a new custom level set. I was no longer to load with the previous level as I hadn't updated and was not informed of this. It caused the level to crash upon loading. As soon as I switched to the new custom level set it started working.

But in all seriousness, there is no real way of telling if this is the problem or not. The issue is that *FOR NOW* all custom levels need to be blocked at least from the public server to prevent issues. It's too hard to tell what's causing these issues with everyone going insane trying random levels etc.

Cheers.
